The old trophy room of Hogwarts seemed dusty and less then grand these days as Janet wondered down there to view the quidditch trophies of the past. She had no classes today, she did not really enjoy having all the free time, like most other students. She had to keep busy to keep her mind off of the bad thoughts she had. She was wondering if she could manage to be remembered for something good at the school, an award. That was a good goal to have, plus if she wanted to play for a professional team she had to do something more then play good. She had to be better, and better.
Her hair was longer today, it grew fast after she cut it, mostly due to her magic, not really her own thoughts but it happened. At least it stayed a nice shade of brown, her natural blonde hair was a constant reminder of her childhood, and that did scare her. She viewed the awards of many names, many strange and different, and blew off the dust off of the tables that held quidditch tools underneath the glass.
Silence was nice, a strange change for her as she read the inscriptions on the first snitch to be used in a Hogwarts game. The room had few new trophies added, in fact most where old, and outdated. She wondered if the school even gave out awards anymore. As she spend a few hours cleaning the room up, not completely with magic but with a duster and some polish that she conjured.
Then once it was all said and done she was about to head out when someone came down the stairs, her heart skipped a beat, she did not want to get in trouble, or have to explain her actions here, though with a quick spell she made the polish and dust rag (that was very dirty) disappear. No one had to know she cleaned the place.

((OOC: Hope you don't mind me jumping in, and sorry in advance if it's terrible.))
Andrew wandered the halls of the castle aimlessly, lost in thought. He wasn't aware of where he was going, just letting his legs carry him where ever. He had finally gotten a break in his workload, which meant that he could relax on his day off. It was a little too windy for him to practice his flying that day, so he had decided to explore the castle instead. That being said, he was so lost thinking about everything and nothing, that he probably wouldn't even notice if he did find anywhere new.
He had chosen to wear his robes, so as not to stick out too much while wandering the corridors while all the other student were on their way to classes, and he had pulled his hair back into a loose pony tail to keep it out of his face. All though he was dressed to fit in, he was sticking to the more out-of-the-way passages and staircases, so people would be less likely to bump into him and start talking to him without him noticing. He was thinking about a lot of things while he walked, his sisters, his future, Tris. Mostly Tris, though he tried not to. He and Tris were best friends, so it was not unusual for him to think about her, but his feelings for her made it complicated. Tris being able to read minds occasionally, even though she tried not to, complicated it even more, which was why he tried not to think about her if he could help it.
He looked up as he pulled a tapestry out of the way, wondering if his random path was leading anywhere. He didn't recognize his surroundings at first, but then he turned down a staircase and spotted a cabinet that he recognized all too well. It was cleaner than usual, almost freshly cleaned, but not to the caretakers standards. If he had not once had a detention cleaning that very room, then he probably would have thought that the cleaner had just finished. As it was, it looked as though it had probably been cleaned a night or two before.
As he came to the bottom of the staircase and into the trophy room, he spotted someone at the far end of the room. That took him by surprise a little, since the trophy room rarely had visitors. Even he was there by accident, not that he believed in such things. being a Seer he didn't believe in chance and random occurrences, at least not on a large scale. Occasionally small things were random, but usually even those small events were connected to some larger destiny. He had little interest in the girl, though he took in more about her as he came closer. He recognized her from somewhere, though he wasn't sure where from, so he guessed he had just seen her around the castle once or twice.
He was now in the sort of place where people went to escape, so he thought it best to respect her privacy, for the time being. "Hey." He said, smiling at her, then stopped a few meters away from her and studied one of the trophy cabinets. Many of the trophies and awards it held were incredibly old, bearing names he didn't recognize beyond what he had seen before, though there were two he knew immediately. 'Award for Special Service to the School, presented to Messers Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley.' He had always wondered what the special service was, but he doubted he would ever find out.

ooc: no worries, I walys think my posts are lacking something, there are very talented people on the site, that is why I enjoy it so much
Janet was surprised to see a student here, her thoughts where that a professor was coming down to see what the noise was from there. Then again it was rather out of the way and less then noticed. She took in the boy’s appearance, School robes, Hufflepuff, looked younger then her, then again so did everyone else around the school being 19 years old did that. His hair was longer then hers, she always found that strange, not in a bad way though. She deemed him to be in his seventh year, a guess that she did not make auditable.
While he was dressed to fit in Janet was not so much. Jeans and a basic v-neck tee, in a navy blue, a color she often wore regardless of her house. It was a comfortable outfit, and rather practical if it was known what she was doing down there. However the light Hey sounded more like a sound like someone had not expected anyone in here. While she jumped to her own conclusions, about his intentions and thoughts, she had to say something, after all that was only normal, right?
“Hello.” She said softly, but still firm and polite. She had seen his face before, where she was unsure. Most likely classes, for she did not think he roamed out in the forest at night. However those days, rather nights where long behind her, at least she did hope.
She noticed him looking at the award for Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley, “The should have some sort of plaque explaining some of the awards don’t you think?” she said moving out of the way to the Quidditch section once more. Oh how she had the desire to have her name in this dusty old room. It was a strange urge that did not seem to go away. Her words meant that she had opened a conversation, at least that was her thought. ’Why did I have to go and do that now?’ she thought to herself, her face remained flat and with little emotion, as most days.
“I am Janet by the way.” She said knowing that it would be polite thing to say. Her therapist had always said to introduce yourself to people, and to be open minded. The thoughts of her last session did in fact make her slightly roll her eyes. A strange thing to have once someone introduced themselves, however she hoped he had not noticed.

The girl returned his greeting, then after a moment broke the silence once more. "The should have some sort of plaque explaining some of the awards don’t you think?" The comment took Andrew by surprise a little, it was a perfectly sensible idea, but he had half expected her to ignore him. "Pleased to meet you Janet, I'm Andrew" He said after she introduced introduced herself, then followed up her original comment "That would be good, but then it removes half the mystery."
Janet's face showed no sign of emotion, but it wasn't cold. He had looked up at her from the cabinet while she was talking, manners that had been drilled into him as a child, and had noticed both the lack of emotion, and the eye roll that followed her introduction. He had hoped to find signs of irritation, or welcome, in her face, searching for whether she welcomed his intrusion or not, but the signs told him that she had also been deep in thought, or at least she still partially was. She had rolled her eyes before he had had a chance to introduce himself, so he knew that she wasn't being rude, and therefore chose to ignore it.
He didn't mind the company, so now that she had started a conversation he was happy to continue it. "Just imagine what sort of service could have earned this award." He added to his previous statement. "Harry Potter, the boy who defeated He Who Must Not Be Named, this award must have been for something great." the date on the trophy was wrong for that battle, some five years early."But then again it would have been awarded by Albus Dumbledore, so it could have been something equally ridiculous, like saving the school from obesity by eating Honeydukes out of stock."
After he had said it, he wondered if his joke had actually been that funny. Even Dumbledore hadn't been quite that mad, or at least he didn't think he had been. Most of the awards and trophies had at least general reasons for them, high achievements, or winning some competition or something. Of the hundreds of trophies in that room, only a handful were for 'special services', and he had a feeling that it was probably a good thing that most students didn't know what they were for. If a first year ever found out that, say, a Death Eater had broken into the school during the night, they would probably be terrified. The thought scared him even more, and he knew how bad they were, and that they had broken in more than once.

Andrew, the name fit him. At least that is what Janet thought as she looked at him, listening to him speak. Janet had less of a mind about mystery, she was very set in knowing fact, rather then fiction, and more so positioned herself to forget about silly thoughts. However she did know what it was he spoke of, mystery that required more work then a simple venture to a old trophy room.
“I don’t like mystery much myself, it shadows the truth too much.” She said to him looking t the quidditch awards, some for youngest and others for fastest. She wondered what she could manage; she was fast, strong and never backed down. Had taken more then a hundred bludger hits and remained on her broom for most of them. She recently had taken the chaser position, instead of beater. That meant she could rack up some points, perhaps?
She has fallen into the thoughts of quidditch until she registered his words once more. “Well, perhaps it has to do with the quad wizard tournament? It was around that time, was it not?” Janet said looking at the award again. She had read some about the tournament, and at the time thought it was child’s play, however now being a different person she was well aware of the dangers it held. She was slightly confused as to why the school would allow such a competition.
She figured that these special service items are the exact things she would not be getting. She had done so much that deserved to be kicked out more then an award, she figured quidditch would be her only way in. After all being an ex murderer did give you an edge over the other team, even if you where clinically insane… well so they say. She hated it when those ideas came into her head, she had to find another outlet, and thus came the continual conversation with Andrew.
“So what brings you down here? Far and few things in-between ‘round here.” She said walking around the room, just admiring the work she had done, and seeing some spots that she had missed, if Andrew was not there she would continue to clean, however it may be a little too strange to start cleaning the room with someone in it.

"I don’t like mystery much myself, it shadows the truth too much." Andrew's sisters had also disliked mystery, a childish fantasy one had one called it. The again, he knew that they also envied him a little for it, albeit secretly. The four of them had all had to grow up too fast, and he counted himself lucky to have been able to keep hold of his imagination, and his sense of wonder. "It could have been I guess" He considered Janet's suggestion of a link to the quad-wizard tournament, although it had still officially been the tri-wizard tournament in those days. He thought the dates were off still, but he wasn't sure enough to comment.
The sensible side of him, the part that had been dilled with Auror and survival training, new that the award had been for something serious, and dangerous, but he didn't want to know that. He wanted to know all about the bravery, or hilarity, of the actions that led to it. He truly still was a child, no matter how much his sisters tried to make him grow up.
He noticed her paying extra close attention to the quidditch awards, though that particular cabinet only contained the rarer awards. The standard quidditch awards were usually held near the changing rooms at the quidditch pitch, although the older quidditch cups were in that room, somewhere. The trophy room had a habit of growing every time new awards were presented, one new quidditch cup and a house cup record moved there every year. He wouldn't have been surprised if the cabinets rearranged themselves either, very little in Hogwarts seemed content to simply sit still.
As Janet walked around the room, Andrew shrugged a response to her question. "I just went for a walk around the castle, and ended up here." He said "You should try it sometime, just wander around, and keep going even if you get lost. Only turn round if you meet a dead end, and then only after you've tried to get through it three times." He didn't think anyone knew every single wall that occasionally let you through, and there were a lot of them. Most of them weren't restricted, only the House common rooms and the professors offices, the rest just had to like you to allow access.
"I heard a rumor once, that someone had tried to make a map of the school, showing every passageway and staircase, but I swear it'd be impossible." He said thoughtfully. Maybe if he had been fully paying attention during his random walks he would have had a chance, but there was so much to explore, and so many possibilities for each door that the map would have to constantly change with the castle, and that would take a genius to cope with, or possibly a lunatic.

Janet seemed to be less then interested in the special awards, but that was only because she had spent time looking at those earlier. Her goal was more to the lines of quidditch, rather it was the only thing she thought she may be able to accomplish. After all that was the one thing that kept her sane, and she was very well aware of that. A sigh of acknowledgment at his words as she made her way to see the room, it was indeed strange how the castle worked.
Janet had listened slightly to him as he said he wondered into the room. So many had no sense of direction. That was one thing Janet did not lack, she needed focus and direction. A destination and a goal in mind before anything was started. “I think I will stick to my structured ways.” She slightly smiled, it was a refreshing change but the same blank expression came back moments later. Janet had learned so much over the years, and being emotionless had come with the territory.
“Well I would have to say it should be enchanted.” She said referring to the map in question, many students had heard of such a map, though she doubted it was true. “After all it seems the castle keeps changing. Almost like it has a mind of its own. Magic is funny like that. Making things from nothing at all.” She said looking at the nearer cases, that looked just in place as the old ones beside it. “I mean, moving passages, and such I don’t think it would be possible to have it in a map, rather if someone did I would be mighty impressed.” She said not sure if he knew how much it took to empress this Ravenclaw.
“Though I would like even a glimpse of what the school has in it, even if it was not complete, don’t you think?” she said looking at him this time, no longer avoiding that eye contact, and true acknowledgment of company. It was hard for her to talk to people, she always put her own thoughts about them in her head, be it true or not she often thought the worst of people. That was of course as of late, in the past she could read a person in just a few moments, today however was a different day.
“I wonder if this place was every busy with people.” She said looking around the room, “These days no one is interested in it, and I haven’t seen anything new in here except quidditch cups. “ she said with a slight irritation, not at Andrew but at the lack of effort it seemed was going into the school. Awards on awards of special service, and outstanding achievements, but nothing of recent times, she wondered if it was a dream worth perusing at all.

When Janet smiled, Andrew felt like she was fully joining the conversation, if only for a minute. As she returned to an emotionless state, he began to wonder if it was truly distractions gnawing away at her, or if she was guarding herself for reasons unknown. Either could fit a person hiding away in this place, though he had no reasons to believe that she had been hiding either. That she had admitted to being a more organized person made him sway towards the latter however, as he doubted that structured people who didn't like mysteries we be as easily lost in thoughts as he was. The thought of her guarding her emotions reminded him of Tris, and he instantly felt a pang in his heart as he remembered how much he missed her. He calmed him self, never once allowing his smile to falter. He too was an expert at keeping his emotions in check when he wanted, or needed, to.
"Such a map truly would be impressive." He admitted, still convinced that to attempt such as task would be an act of lunacy. "Although the castle tend to reveal its secrets to those who seek them." he added in response to her other comment. He himself had discovered a little about the castle in his time there, and he was sure that he would have discovered much more if he had been paying attention to where he was going more often. He noticed then that she had made eye contact with him, and he smiled a little more. He was trying to help her relax, in case she was merely tense around strangers. That didn't mean he was going to reveal all of his secrets to her, as suppressing some of his deeper emotions earlier had proved. Still, she had nothing to fear from him, and he wanted her to feel that was true.
As Janet turned to look around the room once more, he thought about her question. "To be honest I could never imagine this room being busy." He replied, the idea of people actually wanting to be in that room seemed as unlikely as a map of Hogwarts. "At least not unless they were plotting something. I expect that award ceremonies would happen in the Great Hall."
It was a shame, he knew that people should show more respect for the people honored there, but everything had happened so long ago that no one really cared any more. "It would probably help if history wasn't so boring." He thought aloud, then realized his thoughts had been vocalized. Thinking on his feet, he decided it best to add some of his other thoughts in explanation. "I mean," He said quickly, trying to regain his composure, "some of the things we're taught in History of Magic could be exciting, but the professor always drones on. If he was a little more enthusiastic, and occasionally mentioned some great historic event for which one of these trophies was awarded, I'm sure this place would see much more life. As it is, most people just associate it with detentions."

It was nice to know that an unattainable map would be something of interest to at least one person, however she had no plans on discovering or creating any such thing, so the conversation was seeming less interesting. However a truth in his statement she had to agree, “Yes, the school has shown its colors to those who need it. I have found about ten passages to the outdoors skipping the main corridors.” She said not really going into details as to why she would need these escape routes, she still knew them from her hunting days, and wondered if the school really did do things for good, because she now knew what she was doing was not a good thing at all.
“I bet that each common room has an exit straight to outside. Ravenclaw has two, that few know about.” She said knowing that going from the tower to the ground seemed impossible, however a secret portrait led her down a short stairwell, too short to be anything but magical to find herself out by the lake. She used that one most often, unless someone was near the portrait, or if it was by some shame awake that night. It was in fact a dragon within the frame, that if one was not quiet enough would loudly roar, like a muggle emergency exit.
“Now that you say such, I can also see it less then busy in here. Perhaps they should move these items to the entrance hall, there is enough room and more would be able to see them.” She said with a slight hint of a smile, it was a fair idea. The entrance hall was the first sight, and to see awards there would give the castle more life, and something for new comers to strive for, to be forever displayed by name in the hall.
“I don’t find history boring, it is what has made us who we are today. However I don’t like it still the same.” She said trying her best to be understood. For it was a strange idea. She acknowledged history of importance but would rather be without it, for she had a dreadful past, one she would rather make disappear then share. It was not a good conversation topic, mentioning you where once a hunter. Even if she had mentioned it to the boy out in the lawns, however it was only fair, for her admitted that he was a lycan. It was, she guessed, good to be on the same level.
However she got neither bad vibes, nor animalistic feelings from Andrew, in fact she felt he was more human that she was. She sometimes felt like more of a monster then the creatures in the forest, however at the moment she felt comfortable, as comfortable as Janet could get that is.

Andrew was impressed that there were so many passages out of the castle avoiding the main corridors, although it worried him a little too. "Doesn't it worry you that someone could use them to break in though?" He asked Janet, "Especially the ones that lead straight to the common room." He dreaded to think how easy it would be to break into the Hufflepuff common room if that were true, it was easy enough to get to as it was, there being only a short passage between the portrait and the entrance hall. He was glad that he had taken to sleeping with his wand under his pillow, despite the mockery of some of the other students. As his sisters always said, it never hurts to be prepared.
The idea of moving the awards to the entrance hall was a sound one, although he didn't think it would actually work in the long run. While it would probably allow the younger students to feel more respect for them, he doubted that the older students would treat them with care, and that meant they were likely to be damaged frequently. "There's definitely enough room, but it can get a bit manic down there." He said, voicing his concerns but trying not to dampen the idea too much. "Maybe we should suggest it to someone." He added; after all, it never hurt to try.
Andrew could understand what Janet meant, to a point. He could comprehend the idea of disliking something without finding it boring, he could even understand enjoying something that was made boring by others, but he had a feeling that there was deeper meaning to her words. He got the feeling from her that she, much like Tris, had something in her past that she wanted to get away from. There was nothing wrong with that, for even he had some moments that he would sooner forget.
Janet was opening up more now, Andrew noticed, she had even started smiling again, and forgotten to cover it up. He decided to ask something a little more revealing of her, hoping that he hadn't left it too late for such a question, or asked before she was ready to answer. "So what brings you in here?" There were many different levels to which it could be answered, so he thought he would be safe. Even though he had answered truthfully, and fully, when she had asked him the same thing, if he had been here on purpose he knew he would have been able to find a truth that he was willing to share, even if it had just been 'to find somewhere quiet that wasn't the common room'.

Janet had never once worried about intruders until the dance, and figured that if they wanted to get in it really did not matter how. “No.” she said simply. “Most of them are exit only, and I have learned to take things as they are.” She said not wanting to sound so uncaring but she did not really care if someone entered in anymore. “Just look at the dance, it doesn’t matter how much protection a school has anything can happen.” She said to him. The dance was not a fun time at all.
It had been her first school function, funny how things like that worked. It was just another battle with herself and more creatures. She had spent the next few days in the hospital, for mental reasons after that, but somewhere physical. It was a unpleasant memory to bring up, and she was not sure why she had. “I guess that is why they stress lessons. To always be prepared.” She said adding on, even though they frown on magic used outside of class. It was the fact that many if not all students carried their wands, and that the staff was on their toes was why so many survived the blood bath.
Janet enjoyed his comments on moving the awards, it changed the topic suddenly back to the room they where in. “Well I am sure they could enchant cases or something to prevent damage.” She said knowing that the school had too much magic for its own good. “Though I do say it could be a bit of a mess there. It would require some planning.” She said thinking about it. It by no means would be an instant thing. They would need to know the measurements, and how they should set the items before moving them. However she did like the idea of them being on display rather then tucked away.
Then, like a well oiled machine the question she had been expecting for a time now. What she herself was doing there. It was different and nice to have to wait for it, and perhaps she would have done will without answering it at all. However when she asked the question herself, it was open game. “Well I like to spend time looking at the awards. And clean up a bit, it seems few tend to the place anymore.” She said honestly and plainly, not wanting to go on an on about her own name in stone, sort of speak.

Andrew was relieved to find that the passages were exit only. He knew that wouldn't stop the most determined people from entering the school, however. "At least they can't sneak straight into the dormitories though, if anyone did break in I wouldn't want to be asleep when it happened." He said, hating himself for his absence during the dance. He had heard that it had been bad, but it wasn't until his return to Hogwarts that he had realized just how much the students had been shaken by it. He often wondered if he would have been much help, had he been there, but he never shared that with anyone. Most people would probably laugh at him, and even those that knew him and his past would probably help him see sense. In the midst of confusion, even the Professors would have had a hard time controlling the chaos.
"I guess that is why they stress lessons. To always be prepared." That was a joke. "Is anyone actually prepared though?" He asked in reply. Having seen what it could really be like in the real world, he knew that there was no way a lesson could truly prepare anyone for it. "I can understand why there would have been a panic at the dance, even if you know defensive magic by heart, nothing can prepare you for a life threatening situation, not even dueling." His own first hand experience of Death Eaters had taught him that. The fear, the apparent certainty of death, not even the bravest of Gryffindors could hope to keep their head under that. Sure, they may keep fighting, but the first time panic will always cloud your judgment.
Andrew was almost astounded. He had finally come across someone who actually cared for the awards as the whole school should. He would have liked to know why, but felt it was rude to ask. He almost kicked himself for his thoughts earlier, that the level of cleaning was below standard. "To think, cleaning this room is usually saved for detentions. It's rare to find someone who actually enjoys it." He said, the enormousity of the task as beyond his comprehension now as it had been years before, when the task had been his for a night. "It is nice to know that someone looks after the place though." He added, smiling at the girl with a new found respect.

ooc: {it's not bad, in fact gave me loads to write off of, TOO MUCH I need to stop sometimes. I need to remember not to add too much into the details and history and focus more on the present. But Janet is all about her past... ANyway, this is a great thread, and thank you for replying!)
Janet was not sure she was on the same page with Andrew about his desire to keep the school safe. While it was a nice idea, and the fact that one should be prepared, however asleep or awake no one was ever ready for a fight, at least not most normal people. Janet had lived her life ready to fight, and fought countless times that the dance, while it did surprise her did not scare her. It shook her up, the idea that she was trying so hard to get away from her past, it came running back at her. However it was all just another part of what made her who she was, and that she was still unsure of.
“I feel like I am always prepared, the dance was not my first fight, though I was shocked.” She said not wanting to sound arrogant, but it was her truth. She was always on the defensive side, and even more when a creature was around. She was very well spoken about her distaste for non human’s. This distaste, also made her angry at herself, because she did recognize the blindness in such hatred. Getting past it however was proving very difficult. “Though I agree, lesson are not enough to prepare anyone. It is unfortunate that one is never ready until it has forced one to be.” She said sounding like some old scroll that was locked away in the very room perhaps, however she had been trying her best to make sense and not stray to far into her own personal problems. “Dueling is very tame, and has rules, in a real fight there are no rules.” She said now looking at Andrew, she had been in many battles, many of her own making but just as much a victim as well.
Scars on her neck would reveal, not once or twice, but many time she had been bitten by a vampire, a bite that one could think she had become one, however with so many, it was clear that she was a fighter. These scars matched those on her body of claws, and other animal bites of many different races. However she did well to hide these, some with magic, others with clothing. However her magic was no longer that strong, weakened from the latest string of events, that she often did not mask them with magic anymore.
“It should have better upkeep in this room.” She said enjoying the conversation switch back to the room itself. However she had little to add more then that, being as her cleaning was not finished, and she felt uncomfortable cleaning around another person it was going to stay that way. “And those with detention do little more then dust most often.” She said, with was pure luck that she had not had detention, then again she was very careful when it came to her other life.
“I would like to see more in here then things of the past.” She wanted to bring up the fact that many students helped greatly in the battle at the dance and received little for it. She had seen many acts that where more then the average, and more then the expected. However it was perhaps difficult to judge in battle what is right and wrong… Janet knew that herself.

"That's my point though," Andrew replied "even if you're always on guard, you can still be surprised. Unless you're borderline paranoid." Then again,he thought that's no way to live. "It's horrible, but maybe us older students should be forced to feel that fear. If the teachers let a troll loose in the apparition lessons, everyone might be a little more prepared." The last was meant as a joke. Sixth years should be more than capable of taking down a troll, especially when it was all of the sixth years against only one troll, and he only really thought that they should be given the illusion of a life threatening situation, not a real one.
Although he joked about teaching the students the fear, he could truly tell that Janet had been in fights in the past. Ones where her life had been threatened, and she had come out alive. He wondered what tales she could tell, though he knew better to ask. True combat was not glorious, it was terrifying, and something you didn't want to relive.
"And those with detention do little more then dust most often." Andrew smiled when she said that, "That depends on who's keeping an eye on them." He replied, "The caretaker wants the whole room dusted, and the trophies polished so much that they blind people." It had been a long night, the night he had cleaned the room, and magically it had been dusty the next day. "I think the teachers create extra mess in this room, for more detentions. Either that or the castle wants this room to be dirty."
"It would be nice to have more awards given out." Andrew agreed, "Although I'm not sure what they would be awarded for. Most of these seem to be for something special, or at least the ones that actually have explanations do." he tried to think of circumstances that he would consider worthy of an award. "Any awards that were related to the dance would probably have to be awarded to half the school, and I can't think of anything in recent history that would be cause to single a few people out for congratulations."

Currently, she could pass as borderline, or was she just paranoid? She had to refrain from commenting on that statement, for it would give away too much of herself, since he did not know her, and that was a nice and pleasant change from the common grounds where people avoided her. “Too much fear can make one numb to it however.” She said to the statement of fear. That was a statement she seemed all to familiar with, however cleaning up her act had created a whole new side of life that she was learning what fear really was.
“Perhaps, it seems that few things in the school are truly clean. And with the amount of magic here one would think it should be pristine, however they do have larger concerns then the tidiness’ of the place.” She commented, she had realized that cleaning up in that room had made her feel better, perhaps it was just another example of something good she could enjoy doing, not as a grand plan but something to pass the endless hours where she could not sleep.
“That is true, many acted with good cause at the dance. And it was so hectic I doubt anyone even knows how was where when.” She said remembering the night, it was unpleasant, but still rather clear in her head. It was like a vision of her past meeting her present, one she shook away with a few blinks and a turn to look around the room she had been around a few times over now.
“I could think of some, perhaps great school award, for the best student. I know students are always trying something new, and am sure someone has created something more helpful then the current positions or even spells.” She was speaking more then she ever had as of recent times. “Give them something to strive for, like creating something of benefit to more then just themselves.” She said sounding a bit cynical to some; at least that is what she thought.
“I don’t really know, but people do things that are admirable all the time.” she said not going to the reverse of that, for as many good there was the same share of bad and evil, a category she placed herself in for quite a good part of her life.
Then she went back to her thought about moving the items to the main hall, “However, if these where out in the open I wouldn’t have such a quiet place.” She said not meaning to sound rude, or even like she wanted him to go away, however a statement of slight sadness. Then again with every positive there was a negative, a lesson she was learning over and over again.
