Level Nine: The Department of Mysteries
There is only one door on Level Nine and this door leads to the Department of Mysteries, a strange and ominous area of the Ministry. Beyond the first door on Level Nine lies a black door and beyond that a circular room with many doors which revolve once the black door has closed, thus making it impossible to know which door is which. They lead to various sub-departments in which the Unspeakables of the Department of Mysteries experiment and research the world's greatest mysteries and forces. Some of the sub-departments include - the Hall of Prophecy, the Brain Room, the Death Chamber, the Locked Room, the Plant Room, and the Time Room. No one is allowed in the Department of Mysteries without proper clearance, it is a very dangerous place.
