Name: Jesska Amavi Kertesz-Nosferatu
Wanted Position: Vampire Princess
Abilities: Wandless Magic
History: Jesska's father, Désir Dux Nosferatu, is an ancient vampire, thousands of years old, and very well-respected. He is known to get his eye on something, find a fascinating idea, and obsess with it until he has done just what he has been wanting. One of his fascinations was Jesska's mother. He had gone back to his home country, France, where he first set eyes on this beautiful woman. At first, he had planned to seduce her, then simply drain her of her blood. He approached her many of a time, and time and time again, she refused him. This never happened to vampires, especially him. This didn't only confuse him, but made her all the more fascinating, and intriguing.
He continued to attempt to woo her, finally with all the time spent together, he learned, that even him, Désir, could fall in-love. That there was something good in him. His love for her was pure, and this obsession became more then just seducing her, a game that entertained him. He felt hurt, when she showed no interest him, and longed for her touch, her love.
Eventually, the object of his love, Jesska, felt it too. They feel deeply in-love, one day finding out that Jesska was pregnant. The day that her child were to be born, there were many complications. Not only was this in 1932, meaning the technology we have now, wasn't exactly what they had, but she was losing blood, fast, for a reason at the time, was unknown. Désir remained at her side the whole time, restraining himself from throwing himself at her neck, his blood lust was so tempting.
The doctor announced there was no hope, and just as Jesska was slipping into a coma, Désir lost it, lunging for her throat. He drained her of all her blood, and once there was no more, it only took a few breaths to realize what he had done. He had killed her, seen the life empty from her eyes, he was the cause of that.
He left the room, over-whelmed with the situation at hand, demanding that the doctor deliver that baby a live. He sent his old friend, Demetri to the side of his wives corpse, to witness the birth of his child. Little did Désir know that Demetri was about to commit an act that would separate them forever.
Demetri waited until the birth of the child, until he begun his prey. He first ripped the throat out of the doctor, then sprung for the child, gently piercing her neck. Within moments Desir was in the room, pinning Demetri to the ground. The rage between the two former friends was more intense then either had ever felt, and they began a duel that would only result with one survivor. Desir won easily, without a second thought, as he turned to his daughter, who was born human. He knew that he should change her into a vampire, but what a life she would have? Stuck as an infant for the rest eternity?
He had to make a critical decision, and so she was submitted into intensive care, where her injuries were repaired, though the venom remained in her veins. It was a mystery what was to happen to her.
That was when Jesska Amavi was born. He named her in honour of her mother, but couldn't bare to call her by her first name for the pain of the memories. Her middle name was Amavi, meaning love in English, which is what he would call her. He gave his daughter both his last name, and her mothers. This was now his love of his life, the girl he would serve and protect, forever.
He knew that Jesska, his love, would never have wanted their daughter raised in the vampire colonies, with the horrors it held. He had to try his best to raise her as if she was a human, as if it was natural for them to love humans. This task was never easy for him, but he tried his best, and for that Jesska Amavi loved him.
Jesska grew just as any human would, but surprised her father when she was showing signs of magic. It appeared that Demetri had passed on some of his genes to her with the venom that was inserted in her the day of her birth.
The question of enrolling her in Hogwarts was one to be debated. She told her father that he could return to his home, that she would live on Hogwarts grounds throughout the breaks, so that he could live the life he was used to. She didn't want to burden him, and she knew that he was needed elsewhere. She assured him that she could do it, that it would be alright. She would hunt when necessary, with the other vampires, and when she didn't need to, she would be like any other student. She told him that she wasn't like everyone else, that she was still her mothers child, and that love that he had in him, was in her, too. He had done her mother proud, and so would she.
Upon her arrival at Hogwarts, she didn't have to earn her respect of the other vampires, it was automatic. After all, her father was Désir, one of the oldest, most powerful vampires, ever. The one who lead many victories, saved many vampires lives, and recruited some of the strongest vampires ever known to their race. She was his offspring, and any child of Désir would receive the respect he earned for her. This was a name Jesska had to live up to, and she went about that in her own way.
She never went about to make trouble for other vampires, and worked very hard in school, becoming as strong as she could possibly be. She learned as much as she could about the vampires, their nature, their history, and she learned as much as she could about each vampire she would come across at the school. This didn't mean that she would brutally kill and hunt any human that attracted her, like her father had been known for. This didn't mean she was hostile toward the humans, either. However, there was truth, that not many humans could gain her interest, simply because they hadn't seen the things she had seen, or lived a life nearly compatible to hers.
So, Jesska continued to grow, and live at Hogwarts. She saw her father a few times through her time at Hogwarts, and after graduation, came to live with him, to see if she could manage. It was a far different lifestyle, and too captivating. She couldn't maintain being who she wanted to be if she lived with her father, so she moved back to Hogwarts, with the other vampires, making friends with students, teachers, and entertaining herself with other things rather then spending too much time with the average vamp. She most often introduced herself as Jesska Kertesz, trying to put up the best human front as possible. The rare person, she would tell the details of her life to, would learn her real name. Eventually, at 19, she stopped aging.
About 25 years ago, she took up photography, and started making a fair amount of money off of her favourite hobby. With this money, she invested in a small cabin, in a small town, in Powell River, BC, Canada. This is where she lived in the summer, and did much of her most admired work.
In the past few years, she has accepted two human friends of hers to live with her, under certain circumstances. Seeing as she returns to Hogwarts every year, and has a great deal of knowledge about the school and it's teachings, she was a fit candidate to take in the two students.
She has been 19 for many years now, seen many generations, and still lives the purest life she can possibly live.
Physical Description: Jesska Amavi took after her mothers appearance. Her skin was pale, as most vampires were, but that trait didn't belong to her father, he wore an olive tone for complexion, seeing as his parents originally came from Greece. Her hair was the blackest of blacks, and her lips the deepest of reds. She stood at a short 5 feet, yet head a slim, but curvy body. She had all but one of her mothers features, her eyes were that of her fathers. A solid, strong brown, that made her give off an impression, that she had no weakness. They had a certain glazed look to them, that masked all that lay inside them, making her look like she had no soul.
Other: Ondrea Night and Josi Corbett are her two friends, and students of Hogwarts that live with her. She has been searching for love, and wanting to adopt children of her own at some point in her life. Until then, she hopes to be a help at Hogwarts school.
