(OOC: This is a one shot thread.. one post, since right now I'm a bit in Limbo.. thought I would try to get the muse juices flowing...)
Lorna was going to kill him... he could tell because she refused to turn over to face him.
Thats because George found himself roused from his rest, but one of the Ministry officials. One who was pale white, and not even a vampire. One who was shaking and yet wearing heavy robes. One who looked scared.
And scared he was.
Miss Fallon Grimwood, who had been on assignment, had been attacked, and was currently lying at St. Mungos. And it was clear, she had been hit with an Unforgiveable Curse. Crucio, no doubt, she she was at the moment still alive, though they would not rule out Imperio quite yet. Almost immedatly the Ministry shut out her ward from the rest of the hospital, since the Prophet would be hounding the door as soon as heard about it.
Lorna said not a word as George turned to her, placed a hand on her soulder, and then got himself up, getting his own robes on, and preparing to leave. He felt responsible, since he had put her on that assignment. She probably was going above and beyond, with the idea of the Ministry taking action against the school weighing her down. As such... George felt it was his duty to talk to Deputy Ministress of Magic. Especially since if she died, George would suddenly be less comfortable about the future of the country. And if that Muggle Gordon Brown wasn't enough...
George took one step out the door of his home, with the aid right behind them, and without another word, they both vanished.
