ooc: invite only, janet.
Another night. Though tonight wasn't quite as late, it was only evening. But the graveyard was dark enough to disguise his sins. He wandered aimlessly through the gray stones, hoping to find someone he could play with. Starving and bored, he wanted company. He wanted to find that perfect victim.
Damien was sick. A cruel killer who never second guessed himself. This mind, flooded with insanity, came from years of experience. Tonight the sky was filled with stars, twinkling above the depressing scenery. The moon was large, nearly full, and for a moment his crystal eyes were captivated by the night sky. However, the peace that washed over him was short-lived. In the distance he spotted a figure, kneeling by a grave... mourning? Perhaps... perhaps she should be mourning her own soul.
Damien stalked behind her, his hand suddenly on the girl's shoulder. "It's okay," he cooed softly, wiping away one of her tears with his slender fingertip. The girl was mildly startled, and turned to him with an expression laced with agony. She obviously was grieving a loss. Damien paid no mind to whatever words were on the grave stone. Like he really cared.
The girl managed a smile at Damien's efforts for comfort. She knew how gorgeous he was, he had consumed her thoughts when she was in class with him. She didn't listen to his words, she only imagined what lay beneath his attire, and fell victim to his precious eyes. "I..." she started, then crying all the more, dramatically lunged into an embrace with him.
Well, the girl obviously needed comfort. If he hadn't been setting her up for a kill he would have sneered at this emotional contact. He was nobody's shoulder to cry on, that was for sure. A small sigh left his lips, and he held her for a moment, whispering sweet and kind nothings into her ear. They continued like this for a few moments, her sobbing out her pain, and him making it all better.
"There's a way to end your pain," he breathed, eyeing her with an innocence that anyone would believe.
"H-how?" she gasped, staring into his eyes, oh, he was her savior. They were going to run off, make love, be together... he was so sweet, she could envision it, this gorgeous professor...
"Close your eyes, sweetie," he whispered. She obeyed, leaning back in his arms, expecting lips, exposing beautiful neck. His face changed instantly, fangs lengthening, eyes changing to a shocking crimson; a pitch-black. Damien wasted no time, he leaned in, and sunk his fangs deep into her throat. He shuddered at the contact, at the taste of her blood. He was going to drain her dry, and there was no stopping him.

Janet had been waiting for night fall all day, in a way that is. She rarely slept, perhaps a reason she had so much on her troubled mind. However tonight she would sneak out for a nice moonlit fly on her broom. It was no trouble at all really, getting out of the castle at night was second nature for her, even after her therapy the escape to the outdoors always calmed her mind the most. She flew up high so not to be seen by anyone and flew lowered further from the school. The air was smooth, and she loved the air rushing into her nostrils, it made her feel alive.
And so her mind was clear, thoughtless as she rounded by the graveyard. She noticed some people, but did not take too much solace in it, it was a place students visited alone, not really wanting others with them. Her brother buried not here but near their family home she did not have reason to visit this place.
However she looked down again, the girls skin was light to the dark night, and she noticed a man there, by his stance, movements she wondered what was going on. She decided to get just a bit closer.
Close enough… “That son of a bitch.” She muttered seeing his face only masked briefly by the night, but the vision of his teeth in her skin gave her no reason to falter, Vampires where quick in their work, she had to move fast. She darted on her broom and jumped off to hit him, force the girl’s release. She only hoped that the girl still had life in her.
Janet’s wand drew, she hesitated. Never in her past had she hesitated to kill such a creature, but then again she was in a different mind set, and this was not on her agenda. She wanted to kill him, yes. She wanted to hurt him, like he hurt those victims she would never know of. She wanted him to pay for every sin, his and hers.
Not on Hogwarts grounds, not on her watch…

It was bliss, the way this victim fell helplessly into his arms. He barely had to work for her. Damien just had to endure comforting, then bam she exposed her creamy neck, a delicious invitation. He supported the body by having his strong hands against her back. He could feel her losing life, as her screams and moans became softer, quieter. He was ready to finish her off when he heard movement.
Damien wasn't stupid. And even when distracted with a kill, his super sensitive hearing did not fail him. He pulled his fangs away from the girl's throat. He let her fall to the ground. Damien was both a beautiful and gruesome sight. He was undeniably attractive, but with crazed eyes and blood stained around his lips and chin. He sighed at the sight of a girl, on a broom.
With vampiric speed he lunged toward her, his hand reaching out to the first of the broomstick, and being sure to twist it around, throwing this intruder to the ground. He didn't give this girl time to think, he pounced on her, holding her arms and legs down with the force of his muscular body. He breathed heavily, menacingly, over top of her. "Did you come to play, sweetie?" he asked, his voice a harsh, yet tempting whisper.
The other girl would be fine, she didn't have enough life left in her to get up and run. She was left groaning on the ground, a few feet away from where Damien loomed over Janet's body.
"Or are you trying to be a heroine?" he sneered, his face slowly changed back, showcasing the handsome man that he was. Of course, this probably wouldn't charm Janet, for he still had blood on his lips.

The situation… the position… Janet had been in many similar but not the same. She soon recognized the man who was not on top of her, he thought he was perfect, and that she was to be his next victim, she refused to be anyone’s victim anymore, she had done that job well enough herself. His words did little to adjust her face, but his speed was slightly unexpected, she indeed had been out of the game too long. Never should she had let this man take over her.
On closer inspection, as she assumed he would look over his victims he would see, perhaps smell the sent of other vampires, and creatures that had came in contact with her. Something she soon realized after her first kill, that sent does not seem to disappear however subtle it is. And having scars from previous encounters, three perhaps different bites on her neck was proof that she was not so simple a target, at least sometimes she had this hope.
“I should have known this school would hire another freak of nature.” She said kicking him off of her with a good amount of strength, perhaps adrenaline? That would be the assumption but she still did physical training each day, even against her therapist wishes. It was a dark world, a girl should be prepared. However few would pick such a fight.
Her wand had amazingly not been lost in the tumble. She was good at that, knowing well enough that she could fight without it, it did add much benefit. She slightly stumbled to her feet, but fast, maybe some of those vampire bites had affected her more then she knew, perhaps not…
“Bombarzo!” she shouted, simple charm but strong in her hands, best for subduing your prey, as in this moment she considered him such, a terrible thought. Trees were blasted around him the girl nearly lifeless on the ground worried Janet, saving a life had not been on her list when she fought before. “Neither.” She said to his stupid question, she was in no mood to play and never would be a heroine, that was for sure.
She was light on her feet, getting back into the spirit of the moment, she still hung on to her senses though, the last thing she needed was to go insane at this moment, she was well aware that if she killed another person, creature or not she would be locked up. There would not be any proof that he attacked her really, she knew this. With her past she would look like the attacker and the murderer she really was, really believed she was. Azkaban was not her future… no.

Thought he was perfect? Damien was perfect. There couldn't possibly be a girl in the world who could resist his stunning features, his gorgeous body, or his charming way with words. However, perfection was only skin deep, for he was indeed a vampire, a monster. Damien in no way thought he was perfect; he was well aware of his imperfections. But did he give a shit about those flaws? No. Because he knew he was strong, hot, and always in control. Quite frankly, there was no stopping him.
Especially not by a little girl.
He was a vampire, and he could snap her pretty little neck before she could even acknowledge it. But of course, Damien wasn't feeling that kind. She tried to insult him, and instead of laughing out loud at her attempt, he made a sad pouty face, adorable. "Ouch, why are you so mean?" he snickered at her kick, but went along with it. He flew back with his own vampiric strength.
"Honey, I'm a vampire," he cooed, looking at her with his pretty blue eyes. "You can't kick me, even if I was human, I don't think that would hurt," of course, he was just egging her on now. He wanted her to put up a fight. He could sense that determination, it was written all over her face.
Damien didn't manage to miss the blow from her wand, and was blasted back with the trees. He groaned, and staggered to his feet. She was nasty. And even though she said neither, clearly she did want to play. At least for a little while. Damien was now in a conflict, he wasn't sure if he should resort to magic, or keep with his animal instinct. Of course, being wild was more fun for him.
He left the spot he'd been thrown into, moving with his inhuman speed. He was soon behind her, grabbing her wrists with a force that could break them in an instant. "Why are you putting yourself in danger if you don't plan to save the day? Save her?" he whispered, still behind Janet, nodding in the direction of the other, dying girl.
Now, wouldn't it be tempting to let them both live? To tantalize them with his presence in the school? Damien chuckled as he pondered what to do with his two victims. Who would have thought he would get so lucky on this night. Not one, but two little girls to toy with.

Brilliant. Had she had let the girl die she could have just told the authorities right? Wrong, she knew that her word meant next to nothing, and that was what brought her into this situation in the first place. He was taunting her, she knew all too well that these creatures liked to taunt, otherwise she would have been killed on her very first hunt. Years ago as it was, she felt like that girl once more. Not ready to kill, but not ready to give up either.
“I know what you are.” She said with a fire bitten tongue, however she may not know how old or experienced he really was, not that it mattered she rarely did research. Janet had no real care for her own life, then or now. She had put herself in so many situations she had started to believe there was a reason behind all this, surviving against all odds. However as she felt his hands on her wrists, damn he was faster then the others she had fought, or perhaps she was slower?
“Because I couldn’t care less…” she stated, and the fact of the unfinished sentence was that she did not say about danger to herself. She darted her eyes on the girls’ body. She had enough training to do it, she had to. Dirt started to stir around the girl, Janet’s attention on that. The dirt covered her, and she would soon vanish, and with hopes appear on the grounds of Mungo’s. Janet had not used her magic like that since … well she did not like to think about that.
“Accio Broom” she shouted, yes she had bewitched the item to come even with out that call, but at the moment she did not seem to have that sort of sense, the broom flew fast over to her, but unlike the charm’s intended purpose of coming to the sender the brook started wailing on Damien’s back to release her. It was strong too, like some sort of metal rather then the wood it was made of, that was the wonder of magic it could hold great power. The fact that he had not really attempted to kill her told Janet one thing… she was indeed in trouble.

This girl was feisty. He didn't even know her name. He could swear she was in one of his classes, and Damien tried to recall who she was. He didn't necessarily care, but he was still curious. "Oh you know," he said suddenly, sarcastically, in reply to her snap at him. He sneered at her, still holding her in place, a predator breathing down her neck. His breath came heavier after the attack from Janet.
"Well then what the hell are you..." she threw him off with her attitude, and before he could finish his sentence she performed some act on his previous victim. A growl came, deep in his throat, his eyes flashed with anger. Sometimes Damien cursed magic, attacking muggles was much simpler than fighting with experienced witches and wizards. Humans stood no chance against him, but with magical powers as an asset there was always a challenge. His brilliant eyes glared powerfully at her, as if he could murder her with his baby blues.
This girl was obviously intelligent, it was almost if she had experienced her life being in danger more than once. Most of the people he encountered didn't know how to react so quickly, or how to fight back so strongly. She was very powerful for only being a little girl. Damien gritted his teeth as wood collided with his back. The repetitive beating against his spine forced him to switch positions. He grabbed her little body by the shoulders, and flung her, hard, into a nearby tree.
Damien's beautiful eyes had turned almost black now, as he raced toward her form, pinning her against the tree with the weight of his torso and hips. He was impossibly close to her now, with his face completely changed. "I could kill you right now," he breathed, anger evident in his voice. "But I think that would be letting you off easy. How can I torture you?" he growled into her hear, dipping his head to her neck. He gently bit at her throat, but not hard enough to draw blood.
However, he wasn't so kind, Damien intertwined their hands, and slowly started to drive claw-like nails into the flesh between her knuckles. He did not stop the pressure until he could smell blood and feel broken flesh against her fingertips. "What makes you tick?" he asked the question, but did not really wait for an answer. He smirked, vampiric, crazy, yet somehow, still stunning. "Maybe... not being able to speak?" he knew he could find something this girl would hate. He was calculating. Being a vampire and a wizard had its advantages.
Damien planned to find the girl she moved elsewhere. And when he did, he was going to make sure that she either forgot the incident, or was killed.

Sarcasm was nothing more then a annoyance. His breath on her neck made her want to rip off his head. It discussed her beyond belief, his stench was in her mind, regardless if any true smell was to be there. She was strong, at least in some ways better then others. Defense, strange to think that way but Janet always defended herself even if she was not really trying to save her life.
She was a soft-spoken, closed girl that few knew about these days. Her past behind her as newer students, and newer professors came into the school. However in a fight Janet was mean, and full of hatred. True she knew many things, and was smart on few key things but her life was nothing she would brag about either. As the growl came from his throat she indeed smirked, yes she was still in a boat load of trouble but at least she had done one thing right.
To slow Janet… As she was in the air, once a haven flying in the sky it was not this time as she hit a nearby tree. Something broke, she was sure of it, but she would not stop. At the dance her right arm had been hit by some wood from a blasted door, rendering it useless. That did not stop her from fighting, and this sure wouldn’t either. However she took too long to get back up as he came to her sooner then she would have hoped.
Janet was small, nothing like a fighter should be, but she did not let that get to her. No screams would escape her lips of pain, no she was too strong for that. He leaned in and bit her throat, only a nip. This did surprise her, in the past if she was in such a position she had indeed been bitten. He wanted to torture her? His hands intertwined with hers, pain did come, but she did not show it in her face, no she would not have any of that.
He did not seem to have a plan, this gave Janet some sort of hope, these things were not as smart as they thought they were. After all he could have killed her already, but no they were always looking to torture her. Hadn’t she had enough of that yet? “Seriously, you should pay more attention…” she said with a smile. Too confident, yes but unfortunately that was what made Janet a good fighter too.
The tree grew around their hands, and once it was she was able to get hers free from his. Now the problem of his entire body there against hers. Thinking to fast to debate she got her own hands from the tree and still bloody she punched his face, perhaps not strong by its own accord but the bloody hand and the surprise of being caught inside a tree could give her a spilt chance to get away. She knew the tree would not hold him, but only distract him.

Damien had never met a human so driven to fight. He was used to them being easily controlled by him. He was hoping that Janet would give in, but it didn't look like she would. He started to wonder if attempting to torture her was worth it, and if he should just kill her.
He didn't want her to get off so easily though. Killing her would be a relief, he wanted to haunt her. He wanted to torture her in a way that would actually bother her. She seemed unaffected by his attempts of hurting her. He never saw such a stubborn and determined girl. Damien though he might have to resort to using a spell. Oh, and he knew exactly which one. She wouldn't suspect a vampire to rely on magic, and he planned to shock the feisty student.
Even when he surely broke parts of her, with his crushing hands alone, she masked the pain well. This time he was amused, he smiled. Because he knew he had a better plan for her. It didn't make him angry anymore, even when she wrapped them within the tree, giving him a punch. He laughed in her face, his eyes glowing with mystery.
"Oh, hun, I am paying plenty of attention..." he let his hands be constricted by the force of the tree, and allowed her to get away. For now. Thankfully with all his years of being alive, he was good at wandless magic. Not amazing, but good. He muttered a spell that forced the tree away from him. He leaped out of its grasp, and stalked toward her. His smirk was evil, wicked, and oddly happy.
He grabbed Janet by her hair, yanking her backward, to the ground. He placed a foot on her form, gazing down at her with amusement. "You determined, pathetic girl. You think you can take me..." he smiled at her now, as he fell to his knees, and became close to her. He was grinning ear to ear. He was actually excited for this. Before he got carried away, he made sure to lean into her, sinking his fangs deep into her shoulder, and drawing enough blood to satisfy himself, to make her weak, and keep her annoyingly alive.
Drawing a wand out of his pocket, he pointed it at her forehead. With a confident whisper through bloody lips, he conjured a spell. The spell was wicked, allowing Janet to remember every aspect of pain he gave to her and the other girl, but being unable to speak of it to anyone. Unless she could find away to break the spell, that thanks to Damien's quietness she never would have heard, she was stuck. She would be stuck knowing exactly what he was, and forced to encounter him on a daily basis.
Damien was giddy with excitement. Then he picked the girl up in his arms, an act of almost kindness. He looked down at her, with no emotion visible in his eyes. "I'll take you to the hospital," he said, noticing the distance between the graveyard and Hogwarts. "Unless you want to crawl there?" he asked in a harsh whisper. "Or hope some hero will come and save you..." he looked down at her again, leaving her to think through her options. He did take enough blood from her that she would be faint, and probably unable to walk all the way to the school. But she was a stubborn one.
And Damien did honestly want to take her there, at least in plain sight... because he didn't want her to die. If she died, he couldn't torture her. And everyone knew vampires loved to torture.

Why had she decided to be the good girl? Why did she come back to this hole, this forgotten place so that she could finish school when she knew damn well enough to life out on her own? Because that was what was right… it was best for her to compete this step in her life. However the past comes back to bite you… again and again and again…. "Oh, hun, I am paying plenty of attention..." Janet knew that she was not up to par, and this being her first fight since the horrible dance she knew training on her own was not the same. She had lost something, lost that overkill drive that kept her going. In the past weeks she had been reflecting on her life and what little she had to show for it. Why on earth was she even still here? His words rang in her ears, her past opponents did not catch on so quickly to her use of both force and magic, he on the other hand did. She assumed he was much more experienced. Damn vampires did not show their real age. "You determined, pathetic girl. You think you can take me..." Again he took her, by her hair this time, but Janet had more up her sleeve, but then again she did not want to pull out all the stops either. His stupid grin made her sick, her pain was intense as she indeed had at least some broken ribs, her hands still red with the blood he drew before, she still would not give up, she should have extracted the girl and got out, but no…. she had to pick a fight. One would think she had a death wish, and perhaps she did… Her shoulder, the venomous fangs breaking her skin, this had not been the first time she had ever been bitten, and she had a feeling it would not be the last either. She all too often found herself in theses circumstances. He got more then the taste that any other had received from her, he was indeed strong, and Janet weak more mentally then in the physical sense. However his poor judgment was only the first of many she was deciding. As she took air in, he pointed his wand to her forehead, what spell he mumbled was lost to her ears now ringing in pain. However when he picked her up, she knew something had changed… "I'll take you to the hospital, unless you want to crawl there? Or hope some hero will come and save you..." A harsh whisper, like that did much to her set him, he thought he had won? She did not let that much happen. She had been injured many times and a vampire bite was something she knew how to counter, in a way. It was only a temporary fix, and with his now stronger stature having just fed she still refused to be his victim, regardless of the facts. “I’d rather rescue myself.” She said determined pulled a blade from her sleeve and dug it into his shoulder her body falling to the ground, she had managed to use the acceleration charm, her blood pumped faster then normal for a few seconds allowing her to remain stable, however this would cause her to be in much distress in a very short time. Twice in her life she had lost consciousness and both times she was loaded into the psych word of Mungos, the second time for the criminally insane. She stood tall, she would not let him see how fallen apart she really was, “I will not let you do this to anyone else.” She said pulling two knifes from her legs, seemingly they where in her boots, Janet may be recovering but the girl was always prepared, in this world a girl had to be. Throwing them both, one to his head the other to his heart, Janet was indeed looking evil, blood on her hands, her clothes and the bite on her neck. The increase in blood flow meant more blood escaping from her wounds too. Janet had those knives charmed too, they would not be able to hurt her, should he use magic to turn them against her, but this unexpected twist she hoped would work, she knew all too well that she could die in that very spot if she kept this up. Darkness, not again, not this time. Who would she be, what would she do, and where would she awake? The overwhelming pain, loss of blood was finally taking it’s toll. Before she even saw if the knives hit him she was on the ground, breathing shallow, and in all sense left for dead. If she managed to kill her attacker she would be satisfied, but she somehow knew that this was not over just yet…
