Name: Aaralyn Rayne Keigwin
Wanted Position: 6th year Slytherin student. I was also wondering how I would go about getting a spot on the quidditch team for slytherin? If its meant to be through here, I'd like to be the seeker, if possible.
Abilities: Metamorphmagus
History: Aaralyn grew up as an foster child in France, but born in England. Her foster mother was a muggle, and her father a wizard. She never knew who her parents were and was constantly curious about their whereabouts, why they left her; you know, the usual questions soaring through the mind of an orphan. The one weird thing about it was that she was left with an extremely large amount of money in her vault at Gringotts, but was unable to touch it until her eighteenth birthday rolled around. Also, from the day Aaralyn was born, she was capable of morphing herself into any look she wanted. And as any child would, she complained when she was incapable of getting what she wanted since she was well aware of the sum of money left to her name. So, when Aaralyn failed to receive what she felt she deserved, she would change her appearance to hide herself away from her "parents" until they agreed to give her what she wanted. Naturally, this became a cycle and caused Aaralyn to become extremely spoiled.
When the day came that Aaralyn's letter for Beauxbatons arrived, her parents were overjoyed. They were proud, yes. But more so the fact that they would be able to stop spoiling their child and she just might learn some sort of values that the school could give. And fortunately, they were right in some forms. During her first year at Beauxbatons, she really did not earn many friends because of her constant complaining and utter lack of respect. The people there figured it was just her way of emerging into a new atmosphere and they didn't bother trying to help her. But, as she grew older, the teachers, students, even the paintings on the walls couldn't stand Aaralyn's constant whining and complaining. Finally after her third year, when Aaralyn went home, a letter from the headmistress came along with her stating that if her attitude did not improve over the summer and show an immediate improvement during the first semester, they would not be allow her to continue an education there.
That summer, Aaralyn realized she did not want to cause so much trouble for the two people who cared for her most and went out of their way to make sure she was alright. So, in her fourth year many people saw an extreme improvement. Sure, there were still some times when she would slip up or complain a bit too much, but people could see that she was sincerely trying. Finally, Aaralyn was able to come home during the summer and tell her parents about the friends she made, not the people who hated her. But, that was the summer that began her decline. Her mother went to the doctor and found news that she had gotten leukemia. Aaralyn was devastated, but hopeful that her mom was going to survive it. With much regret, when September rolled around Aaralyn left her sick mother and worried father to go back to school. The first chance she got to go home, Christmas, she left school. By this point, there was no hope for her mother and after the holiday, her mother died.
Not only did this crush Aaralyn's spirit, it brought back the bitter side of her as she went back to school. She cared for her father, but she couldn't see him in so much pain. Unfortunately, Aaralyn's sudden attitude problem cause her to get on the bad side of the headmistress again. But, the headmistress was understanding towards Aaralyn because of the loss that occurred so she let the year finish and allowed her the summer break to kick the attitude. But, during Aaralyn's sixth year she still could not learn to respect again so, by the fall break she was kicked out of Beauxbatons and sent back home to her grieving father. He didn't want to see her miss out on the rest of her education and in an attempt to leave his wife's death behind, they moved to London. So, repacked her school gear and was sent off to Hogwarts, where she was new, alone, and still grieving. She is uncertain about how to go about starting in a new school in a completely different country, so she is trying to hold back the attitude as much as possible.
Physical Description: Since Aaralyn metamorphmagus is a, it is known that she can take on any physical characteristics. But, she was born with jet black hair, pale skin, and bright green eyes. She's not the tallest of the bunch, coming just up to the five foot mark, and weighing in at just under 8 stone (110 lbs.) Her favorite look to change to is giving herself sapphire blue eyes and bright red hair, not the type of red hair someone is born with but the type that someone would have to manifest either from a bottle or from being a metamorphmagus.
Other: i'm leaving the names of her foster father and her real parents open ended in case someone would like to fill the roles to create a sub-plot somewhere along the road. or if anyone wants to play a sister or brother, i'm open to any ideas really.
