Janet listened to him, she had to give him some credit, and also acknowledge that speaking to him was really no different then speaking to a human. After all those years passing where did this anger and drive come from? She did not know the answer to that, but she knew what fueled it all the time. She had to give a slight chuckle, “Heights? Really?” she said not meaning to sound, rude. “I just mean as a wizard you can partly do anything and I think there is a whole lot more to be afraid of. However I guess thinking a about it many people are.” She said not really sure why, it seemed rather irrational to her.
“Well thank you, I have been without a real direction for years, it is good to see I at least appear to be getting things together.” She said to him. A smile danced on her face, it was turning out to be a pleasant conversation. She listened to him talk about being the beater, she did enjoy the position, it was a huge stress relief for her. However when he suggested returning to school, it was a topic she did know.
“I am 19.” She said looking at him. “And in my seventh year, I left my fifth year and they let me return, then I had some personal problems…” she thought t o herself, like ending up half dead in a coma for nearly a year’ her thoughts ended and she spoke above them. “so repeated my sixth and seventh year.” She said to him, granted his was a longer time frame, “They can do some sort of placement, apparently they felt I needed to stay in this year again.” She said to him. “If you are considering returning to the school, get placed, not like you really have to get back here. God knows that I have spent too much time here.” She said rolling her eyes. It would be most enjoyable to finish this year without any … problems.
ooc: I saw the post, and was like, that could be a good thread, with Janet being such a loon as it is. thanks and welcomes all around!

Matt chuckled. "I don't know if it's so much the heights as the fear of falling off the broom." He admitted. Of course it was weird, but he really didn't do that much that would cause fear. He ran around the forbidden forest as a big dog. The forest was banned for students for a reason. He really hated being there, and was glad when Airan finally let him stay with him in the castle.
He nodded. "I know how you feel." Matt said softly, under his breath. But smiled as Janet did. Maybe she wasn't so bad after all. But he was still apprehensive about her being a hunter. Even though he really didn't like being a lycan, he hated that other of his kind had been murdered, although there were many more people like Janet.
But he was surprised when she confessed she had left, then returned. "I don't want to go back, trust me, but I want to for Airan." He blushed, knowing she probably hadn't guessed he was his boyfriend. He wasn't ashamed, it's just he wondered how she would take it he was bi.
ooc;; hehe. goo us for interesting threads! =D

“Falling is not all that bad. But I got rather good at healing myself over the years.” She said with a sigh, her past did have positives but most was negative. “But they make some nice brooms out there that are actually hard to fall off off with the cusion charm on them and such.” She added to her statement, not wanting to sound like she was pushing for something more then a simple conversation. It was rather enjoyable to not go too in depth with someone, the surface was actually rather nice…
She figured that many people, not just in Hogwarts lost their way at some point. For years she had direction, but she learned it was the wrong one indeed, and to correct that she had been working endlessly.
Whom this person was that he had mentioned not once but twice now did not seem to concern her. Friend, brother, lover all needed not to be explained to Janet, whom had none in any category. The one friend she did have was less then aground, and it did not make anything easier on her either. Christy, it seems may have moved away, at least that was her best hope for her.
“Well, perhaps peg on a place as a worker if you don’t want to be a student. I find if I am without something to do, well it is just unpleasant.” She said not wanting to say the word crazy, she already was that with something to do. “Maybe help out on grounds, that way you can be here when ya want to be. It’s a thought anyway.” She said not wanting to sound like she was telling him that he should do something or not. However by the fact he was back on the grounds and that he had someone looking after him meant he did have some sort of reasonable connection to the school, and it wasn’t like the school did not allow freaks… rather creatures into the school anymore.

Matt nodded. "Yeah. I guess you're right." He said smiling. "But I'm totaly broke. I guess I could always hit my parents up for money." But they had no idea he had dropped out, or hated being a lycan. They hardly knew anything about him. And if he wrote more often, they would want him to come home and stuff. He really wanted to see his parents, but for some reason he didn't want to leave. They would want to know everything that happened and he didn't want to relive the past. He figured everything happened for a reason, and he would keep believing in it. It was the only thing that got him through sometimes.
"That's a really good idea actually. A groundskeeping might be better, then I could actually be on the castle grounds." Matt said. Wait until he shared this with Airan! He would be so excited they wouldn't have to sneak about anymore into the forest. He wouldn't have to be worried about other creatures meeting him first, because Matt would probably die without the other boy.
After all, it was him that had saved Matt from certain insanity. He really hadn't 'hung out' with anyone except him and Andrea, which he hadn't seen in a while. He hoped nothing had happened to her. He had really meant to go look for her and go hunting or something...it wasn't so bad when he was with another lycan.
ooc;; Thanks! =D I got it from photobucket. shhh... lol.

ooc: not my best work sorrySo Janet had come up with a good suggestion for once, she smiled, but was surprised nonetheless. “Well I am glad I could be of some help. And we all know that the school needs all the help it can get, I mean it is huge.” She said knowing how many places there where to hide, so many secrets still left undiscovered, and yet so much more hidden underneath the surface. Hogwarts was old, and while it did not scare her all that much she knew it had some great potential to be something scary. It was like a center, with the compass rotating in all directions and never landing on a place of interest. Janet was not really sure what to say at that point however. It was not a dull moment, but a silent one, good suggestion followed by a brief empty space of silence. “You hear about the auror that was killed?” she said suddenly, she knew that was not the est way to ask if someone had been following up on the news, so she sighed, “sorry, I mean have you been reading the prophet, and all the stuff going around?” she corrected herself, sometimes being direct was not the best method. She did not like to read the news, it reminded her too much of death and mayhem, for things where looking grim since the dance where, for once she had fought with a meaning behind it.

ooc;; no worries. mines not that good either. =)
Matt nodded and smiled at her. It had been a brilliant idea. "Yeah." He agreed. Hogwart's was pretty much endless in his mind. It stretched on an on, as if were never goign to stop. As well as the corridors and room after room, it was a wonder more people didn't get lost inside the huge castle. It was ancient, and it was what attracted Matt to it. It was they history behind it that drew him into it.
After a few seconds of silence, Janet asked if he had heard about the auror killed. He nodded. "Just bits and pieces though. Just from the other students, other than that, I don't really follow the news." He said shrugging. "Do you follow it?" He asked curiously. It was kind of scary once you thought about it, but Matt felt safe at Hogwart's but he wondered if it was actually as safe as everyone believed it was.
ooc;;meh, my muse is dying. *tear*

ooc: i know the feeling, but I piced it up a little more in this post (even if Janet is heading back to the castle)
The sudden less then smooth flow of conversation was making things uneasy, but more aquward than anything else. “I like to keep up to date on things as of late.” She said noting his not so informed status. She had not been into the details as she should have been, murder and mystery, that hit so close to home the night of the dance, and yet her doctors told her that getting involved with that could, hinder her treatment and rehabilitation. She rolled her eyes at them often, but so far things were working so, should she complain?
“After the dance it was a rude awakening, that sometimes no mater how hard you try the past still bites you, in my case in the neck…” she said moving her shoulder, it revealed scars, not from one or even two vampire bites but at least four different ones. When she had longer hair, it hid them, now with the shorter hair, it was more noticeable. She could hide them with her magic, but she had to embrace what her past was, and live with it. It was a constant reminder of who she was, and that magic may mask it, but never change it.
“It was my first time to a dance, and the school gets attacked, so I have tried to follow things the best I can without actually getting into it. However the papers are rather obscure if you ask me.” She said, she had once worked at the quibber as a photographer, but that job was long past gone in her mind, strange photos from the mysterious forest, and of creatures that no one should be that close to was all in her past. Not that the quibber was that great of a news source anyway…
She did not know what to say, or even what to ask after that, she painted a dark picture after a nice one of qudditch and flying. Why did she had to go into the topic of death, and creature attacks? Matt surely did not want to hear these things. It was also getting later, as the moon had gone high in the sky, nearly a quarter full. “Well if I am caught out of bed at this hour they will likely lock me up in Mungo’s again, and I don’t want that. SO I should be getting on my way.” She said not really wanting to go inside, but also dreading the idea of being caught.
“Good Luck on working the grounds.” She said standing up, “perhaps I will see you again then.” She said not sure if she should shake his hand or just walk away, she decided to start walking with a slight wave of her hand, and a nod of the head.

ooc;; my deepest appologies for taking so long. starting school has killed my muse. *faints*
Matt nodded. "What's the recent news about it?" He asked curiously. He knew he should probably keep up on the news, but he really didn't. Matt had no where to buy a paper or anything, and he didn't think Airan really kept up on the news either. As Janet showed him her scars, he couldn't help but wince. He could tell they were from vampires, probably a few of them. Matt knew the creatures could be rutheless, could seem so nice, then turn on you in the next minute. He knew them to be masters of seduction, with their god-like good looks and smooth voice. Matt himself had never really come into contact with the monsters, not that he had any room to talk about being a monster, and he was glad he was a lycan, but vampires and lycans didn't get along, and he avoided vampires at all costs.
"Wow. What a first dance." Matt said trying to make light of the seemingly fragile conversation. He hated being serious for too long, and hated serious things. He always felt pressured to not be himself. Matt was always joking and laughing, and trying to have fun. His parents weren't strict and had told him to make the best of everything. Which was something had had taken to heart. But he had recently forgot this valuable lesson upon being mistreated for being a lycan.
Matt didn't really want her to go, but he knew he probably needed to get back in as well. "Me too. Wouldn't want Airan to worry. He does get rather scared when I'm out late." Matt said, more towards himself than at Janet. "And good luck with quidditch. I bet we'll see each other again." Matt said smiling, and pulling his shirt over his head. He stood up and brushed the grass off his jeans and headed towards the forest. A run would do him good.

[ooc: I understand, while I can not say my muse is doing all that great looking for a job after school myself. It is very disapointing, and discouraging. ]
Janet was not really all that much into discussing the most recent news, because she had been lacking in that department as well. The news had little in it of any use, and the details that where there where basically under investigation. “Nothing new really, few people seem to know what is going on these days, but it always that way I think.” She said to him before starting her departure. However he must have understood that it was indeed getting late, and mentioned the name Airan once again, perhaps she would learn who his person was at some point.
“Yes, And thank you.” She said agreeing that they would likely see each other again, as well she was happy to have a conversation with someone who was not completely judgmental. As she headed toward the castle she had to think about running back the other direction, however while sleep would still be void from her night she was going back inside, to where most presumed it to be a safe place, but Janet had her doubts.
